Undergraduate Internship
As an intern at ACCARES & Wellness Center, the student is exposed to all aspects of counseling. The student will learn the backbone of how the office runs (i.e. insurance, fees, scheduling appointments, answering phones, and general paperwork), sit in on counseling sessions and have the privilege of being mentored by some of the best counselors around. The student will leave with a general knowledge of counseling from the counselor and patient perspective. Graduate Internship
As a graduate intern, ACCARES offers hands on experience. Whether you are working on your post-masters internship or just getting a class credit, we will be happy to have you. We place you side by side with experienced counselors to learn techniques, skills and a new understanding to enhance your personal growth and development as a counselor.
